[KS] Seminar in Hiroshima for junior/senior high teachers

Dear list,

An organization in Hiroshima is in search of a Korean senior/junior high
teacher,
with English capacity to participate in a program designed to promote peace
studies.
The program includes the following:

·       Presentations and discussion sessions led by top experts and
academics

·       Participation in one of the largest (10,000+ participants) and most
prestigious international conferences on the subject of the dangers of
nuclear weapons

·       Personal testimonies by *hibakusha* (atomic bomb survivors)

·       August 6th bombing memorial activities in Hiroshima

·       Visits to the Atomic Bomb Dome, Hiroshima Peace Museum and other
sites of memory

·       Educational collaborations with teachers, students and
organizations from Hiroshima
             ·      Informal networking with other Oleander Initiative
participants                            from around the world.
The organization is prepared to pay all expenses for the participant. They
have already recruited two Korean teachers but would like one or two more.

send further details. The deadline for applications is May 16.
