Junghee,

I would consult Kim, Kim, Nsm snd Suh’s book “Beyond Death: The Politics of Suicide and Martyrdom in Korea” (University of Washington Press). It includes twelve articles on the topic of the title.

Dear members,

I noticed Korean politicians suicide quickly and easily, Ro Muhyeon, ... Seoul's major Park today.
Is it because the lives in Korea are so difficult, or because they have thin skin, or they think life is a fleeting moment.
I would like to get some answer from scholarly experts.

Best wishes,
