Yoo Yeong Research Foundation has held its annual translation symposium since 2016. This symposium aims to provide opportunities to share experience and knowledge of translators, writers, and scholars. The 5th annual Yoo Yeong Translation Symposium in 2020 will be held online under the co-sponsorship of Yoo Yeong Research Foundation and the Department of English Language and Literature of Yonesi University on December 21.

 

• Date/Time: December 21, 2020 (Monday), 2:00 p.m. – 5:20 p.m.

• Venue: Online (Zoom)*

• Speaker: Jake Levine (translator/professor), Kim Yideum (poet)

• Topic: Boundaries between Creative Writing and Literary Translation
