[KS] 2022 AKS Graduate Fellowship application

  The Graduate School of Korean Studies, the Academy of Korean Studies, is delighted to announce 2022 AKS Graduate Fellowship for the period from 1 Sep 2022 to 28 Feb 2023. It is our non-degree program which invites international students abroad in the fields of Korean studies to the AKS, and offers opportunities to conduct research for 6 months in Korea. 
 
  

 
  1. Fellowship Benefits
 
  Fellows are provided with monthly stipend of around KRW 750,000 for 6 months, round-trip airfare, and on-campus accommodation free of charge. They need to designate one of AKS' professors whose specialty is most relevant to their research topic as their academic advisor. Korean language courses as well as cultural experience program are available free of charge. 
 
  

 
  2. Eligibility
 
  International students enrolled at an overseas university in a Master's degree program or a doctoral degree program in the field of Korean studies are eligible to apply. Students in an ABD(All But Dissertation) status in a Master's degree program are eligible, while those in a doctoral degree program are not. Korean language proficiency is not required.
