Dear KS Community,

Korean Studies is delighted to share the publication of 2022 Early Release
Articles. These articles are published online before they are collected
into a volume. Included here are two articles (Maliangkay and Leonzini/Moody)
from the upcoming Special Section “The Space between the Notes: Music and
Narrative on Modern Korea” guest edited by Dafna Zur (Stanford University,
United States) and Susan Hwang (Indiana University, United States).

We have more articles coming soon, but we thought we should immediately
share these wonderful and relevant pieces. As always, we would very much
like to learn about your research and share it with the world. We also
welcome special issue ideas. Email me.

Cheehyung Harrison Kim (Editor, chk7 at hawaii.edu)
