12월 22일 목요일, 규장각한국학연구원에서 제127회 컬로퀴엄을 개최합니다. 이번 행사에서는 규장각 펠로로 와계신 튀빙겐대학 이유재 교수님께서 "파독광부 생애사 (Life Stories of Korean Miners in Germany)"라는 주제로 발표를 해주실 예정입니다. 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.

발표자 소개
이유재 교수는 베를린, 서울, 그리고 에어푸르트에서 역사학, 한국학, 철학, 정치학을 공부했다. 박사학위논문은 식민지 시대 기독교/가톨릭 선교를 다루고 있다. 2010년 튀빙겐대학교 한국학과 주니어교수로 채용되어 2018년 동 대학 한국학 정교수가 되었다. 2021년부터 한국학중앙연구원 해외한국학 튀빙겐 전략연구소 책임을 맡고 있다. 연구분야는 식민지, 냉전, 이주, 그리고 디아스포라고 최근 출간한 책으로는 파독광부 생애사(2022)와 Koloniale Zivilgemeinschaft. Alltag und Lebensweise der Christen in Korea (1894-1954)(2017)가 있다.

About the Presenter
Professor Lee studied History, Korean Studies, Philosophy, and Political Science in Berlin (FU Berlin, HU Berlin), Seoul (SNU), and in Erfurt. He received his Dr. Phil. in History with a dissertation on Christian missionary work in the colonial era. He was appointed as junior professor for Korean Studies in 2010 at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, where he got the W3-professorial chair in 2018. Since September 2021, he has been the head of the AKS Strategic Research Institute in Tübingen. His research focus lies in Postcolonial Studies, Cold War, migration, and diaspora. Recent book publications include P´adok Kwangbu Saengaesa (2022), Koloniale Zivilgemeinschaft. Alltag und Lebensweise der Christen in Korea (1894-1954) (2017).
