[KS] Reminder: 7th Pony Chung Fellowship

Dear Korean Studies colleagues,Korea University Research Institute for Korean Studies(RIKS) is currently recruiting applicants for the 7th Pony Chung Fellowship Program. As a post-doctoral program sponsored by the Pony Chung Foundation, you will serve as a research professor at Korea University for one year and receive support for other research infrastructure. We hope for a lot of support from those who are interested. FELLOWSHIP BENEFITS                                                                                                      ○  Pony Chung Research Funding: Up to KRW 50,000,000 (≒USD 44,000) per year - tax and airfare included○  Publication subsidy: KRW 10,000,000 (≒USD 8,800) - Publication subsidies are provided upon procurement of a book contract, within three years after the end of the fellowship, at a major university press written in English.○  Appointment as a research professor by the president of Korea University○ Shared office space at the Research Institute of Korean Studies (RIKS)○  Assistance in making the arrangements to live in the Korea University dormitory○  Pony Chung Fellow workshop (Establishment)– during fellow’s stay in Korea, Fellows can organize workshops related to research projects, invite participants from domestic and internatioal to conduct ‘Pony Chung Fellow Workshop’, and the Pony Chung Foundation and RIKS provide related expenses.
