The Korean Studies Centre's international postgraduate conference will feature sessions on Korea-related topics approached through a wide range of disciplines –history, culture, media, literature, sociology, politics, religion, education, linguistics, and psychology. Postgraduate students (PhD or MA by research) based in Australia or overseas, conducting research related to Korea are encouraged to apply to present. Airfares and accommodation will be provided for postgraduate students attending from interstate and/or New Zealand.

Keynote speakers include Professor Soojin Lee (Daegu National University of Education, South Korea), renowned scholar in Korean language textbooks and curriculum development, and Dr Changzoo Song (The University of Auckland, New Zealand), international expert in Korean diasporas and the dynamics of nationalism and multiculturalism in Korea.
