'Iolani School seeks an Upper School Korean language teacher for the
2024-25 school year.



The ideal candidate should have experience teaching Korean language at all
levels and be able to help develop a Korean language program for students
in grades 7-12. In addition to being active participants in our vibrant
learning community, we are looking for educators who will inspire and
support our students. The ideal candidate is dynamic, a strong communicator
(both written and oral) and committed to professional growth in their
discipline and teaching practice.




An advanced degree in Korean language is preferred. Candidates should be
able to demonstrate native or near-native fluency in Korean and have a deep
understanding of Korean culture and its integration into language teaching.
Additionally, candidates should be comfortable designing and executing
curriculum as a part of a teaching team and adept at integrating
instructional technology.



'Iolani School has many extracurricular opportunities available for those
looking to extend their work beyond the classroom, including, but not
limited to: participation in our residential life program, coaching
athletic and/or academic student teams, and serving as an adviser in our
advisory program.
