[KS] Reminder (application deadline): AKSE Travel Grant

Dear Colleagues,

For AKSE Travel Grant applications, the last deadline of this year - end of this month (31 October 2023) - is approaching.

Thanks to the Korea Foundation, the Association for Korean Studies in Europe can support participation in conferences (worldwide) and research travel within Europe (e.g., library and archive visits).

Eligible are current full AKSE members based in Europe at the time of application who have not received this grant within the past three years.

An application must include:

(1) CV.

(2) Outline of the research plan or conference paper (around two pages).

(3) Application form, downloadable here: https://www.koreanstudies.eu/grants-fellowships-epel/akse-travel-grants/.

(4) A list of obtained funding and pending applications related to this project. (Note: Grant recipients can have multiple funding sources for the same trip if double funding of identical items is avoided and the travel is not already supported by a Korean government agency.)

(5) In the case of graduate student applicants, the application should also include a letter of recommendation from a primary advisor.
