CALL FOR PAPER AND PANEL PROPOSALS
The 2024 New York Conference on Asian Studies (NYCAS) at the University at Buffalo will focus on the theme of Life in the Asian Century. We invite panel and individual paper proposals that may, but are not required to, address the roots, conditions, problems, promises and possible future outcomes of living in the Asian century from our current vantage point nearly one quarter of the way through it.

The conference will be held at the Jacobs School of Medicine in downtown Buffalo. Presenters will be expected to register in advance to be on the conference program. Registration fees will be equivalent to recent NYCAS conferences. Information about conference hotels will be available shortly. Participants should arrange and pay for their own accommodations.
The deadline for individual paper proposals is June 1, 2024.
The deadline for panel proposals is June 15, 2024.
