I am a PhD candidate at the University of Oslo, Norway, and I am looking for participants of my proposed panel for AAS 2025. Would you please post the following message to all the list members? Thank you very much.

Dear Koreanists,

I am organizing a panel, tentatively titled "East Asian Meritocracy in the Historical Context", for the AAS annual conference in Columbus, Ohio in March 2025.

Now we have space for one or two more paper presenters, and topics focusing on Korea or/and featuring transnational perspectives are particularly welcome.

If interested, please send the following information to weiwu0221 at hotmail.com:

(1) a brief bio or self-introduction, including name, email address, affiliation, rank, gender, current city/state/country, research areas and representative publications

(2) paper title and abstract (max. 250 words)
