currently offering the following *permanent* position:

Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben (m/w/d) mit 50%-Teilzeitbeschäftigung
unbefristet Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L FU Kennung: LK 01-2024 (Lecturer für
special instructions, 50% part-time, permanent position, paygrade
13TV-L FU)

Responsibilities:

   - Teaching with focus on North Korea
   - designing and conducting oral and written module and partial
module examinations
   - advising and supervising students (also via e-learning platforms)
in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Korean Studies
   - supervising the student exchange program
   - Participation in the administration
   - further development of the academic activities of the Institute
of Korean Studies


Employment requirements:

   - Completed academic degree (Master's degree) in a subject suitable
for teaching duties
   - at least three years of experience in foreign language education
after completing the university degree or a comparable position,
usually in a full-time employment relationship
   - proof of pedagogical aptitude.

(Professional) experience:

   - Experience in supervising students and relevant teaching
experience with comparable target groups

Desirable:

   - Academic degree with focus on North Korea or experience in
research on North Korea and teaching
   - proof of teaching experience/teaching evaluations
   - experience in e-learning programs and database management
   - willingness to assist in creating new teaching materials and
coordinating tasks at the institute
   - very good knowledge of German
   - very good knowledge of English
   - native speaker of Korean or comparable language proficiency
