seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Level B continuing). The Discipline offers a
comprehensive program of studies, incorporating language acquisition for
learners at all levels, and covering many aspects of Korean history,
culture and society.

The incumbent will be expected to teach Korean language and Korean Studies
units. In order to take advantage of current popularity of Korean language
units, the Discipline would prefer a person who has a demonstrable record
of teaching all levels of Korean language at the University level and
research publications in her/his own area of specialty. Researchers in the
field of Korean Studies with a relevant PhD in Humanities and Social
Sciences are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a background in Language
Education, Literature, Translation, Cultural Studies or Film Studies are
particularly sought. ...
