Dear list members,
A reminder…
The Korean Studies Association of Australasia (KSAA) warmly invites paper and panel proposals from scholars, practitioners, early career researchers, and postgraduate students for the 14th biennial KSAA conference, which will be held at ANU’s main campus in Canberra on Thursday 27 November and Friday 28 November 2025 and is made possible by generous financial support from the ANU Korea Institute. The theme of the conference is “Korean Studies since 1945: Intersection of Colonial and Cold War Legacies and Beyond.” Keynote speakers are Prof. Hyun Mee Kim (Yonsei University), and Assoc. Prof. Lucien Brown (Monash University).
The conference will be preceded by a one-day KSAA Postgraduate Workshop for KSAA student members located in Australia or New Zealand, to be held at the same venue on Wednesday 26 November. Both the workshop and conference will be in-person events.
