Dear Korean Studies Listserv owner,
Could you please circulate the news below, along with the attached flyer, to the KLA members?

Dear Colleagues,
The Department of Modern and Classical Languages at George Mason University launches new MA and BAM (accelerated MA) Programs in Korean Studies. With these new tracks, students in Korean studies can now pursue graduate degrees at Mason. The Korean MA at George Mason University has special strengths in critical cultural studies, translation studies, diaspora studies, and interdisciplinary approaches to Korean studies. Students in the program benefit from Mason’s location and access to the academic and cultural resources of Washington, D.C., as well as the Songdo Mason Korea campus. The program prepares students for a subfield of Korean Studies and professional careers in federal and local government, the private sector, non-governmental and international organizations, educational institutions, and the translation field. Students can apply for these new graduate programs beginning in this year's application cycle. Please find the detailed information on the programs with the following link: Modern and Classical Languages | Programs: Korean Studies...<https://mcl.gmu.edu/programs/la-ma-frln-kore/application>
Thank you!

 All the best,

Young
