2025-2026 Book Manuscript Workshop

With generous funding from the Academy of Korean Studies Core University Program Grant, the Institute for Korean Studies at Indiana University will sponsor a book manuscript workshop for scholars in the field of Korean Studies. It is open to any scholar whose manuscript is near completion and who can benefit from the feedback from specialists in the field and discussion.

The manuscript workshop will take place at Indiana University Bloomington as an in-person event. Those interested should submit a project proposal (including a timeline for completion), a sample chapter, and a short CV to Professor Seung-kyung Kim (sk84 at iu.edu<mailto:sk84 at iu.edu>). For best consideration, submit your application by Friday, March 6, 2026.

The manuscript for review will be due for submission about six weeks ahead of the workshop.
