Greetings from the Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies.

We are pleased to present you with No. 63 of Kyujanggak Sague (Kyujanggak Quarterly Newsletter) to esteemed teachers and scholars who take an interest in Korean studies.

The cover image features Dongbinggo (東氷庫, East Ice Storage) and Seobinggo (西氷庫, West Ice Storage), together with Mt. Gwanak (冠岳山) as depicted in the Yeoji-do (輿地圖) preserved at the Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies. 
During this sweltering summer, viewers are invited to take in a bird’s‑eye view of Seoul from Mt. Gwanak, where Seoul National University is located, and to momentarily forget the heat wave.
