[KS] 2026 GKS(Global Korea Scholarship) at the Graduate School of Korean Studies, AKS

    We are pleased to announce that the Graduate School of Korean Studies, the Academy of Korean Studies, is now accepting applications for GKS(Global Korea Scholarship) for Master's and doctoral degree programs in Korean studies. 
    
     GKS is a scholarship program supported by the Korean government and implemented by the National Institute for International Education(NIIED). This program aims to promote international educational exchange and strengthen mutually-beneficial relations between countries by providing foreign students with opportunities to study at higher education institutions in Korea.
     The Graduate School of Korean Studies, the Academy of Korean Studies, is one of the designated institutions for the GKS program.
     GKS awardees learn Korean language for a year and then begin the degree program.  Our GKS awardees will take Korean language program at Pai Chai University, the AKS' commissioned institution, before studying with us.   
     Annual Scholarship Amount : 14,400,000 KRW during Korean language program / 16,560,000 KRW during degree program
