The Department of Chinese and Korean Studies of the Institute of Asian and
Oriental Studies (AOI), Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen invites
applications for the position of 

Full-Time Lecturer

(Salary according to German TV-L Level 13, 100%)

This position is due to commence on October 1, 2013 and is limited to 6
years.

Requirements for appointment are a PhD degree, scientific qualifications for
teaching and research in the field of Modern Korea, extensive teaching
experiences especially in the field of German-Korean relations and the
willingness to cooperate and contribute to the already existing research
projects and programs of the Korean Studies Program at the University of
Tübingen. In addition, the candidate is required to be proficient in spoken
and written German and Korean.

The chosen candidate will be requested to support the professorship in all
matters of the subject, especially in matters of organizing and conducting
the courses of study. The teaching obligations are 12 hours per week.
