    This is just to further support the lobby in favour of less 
tittle-tattle in the form of words like pabulum (which is a word 
mostly used for cattle feed and therefore rather insulting; less is 
more, Mr. Mohan), updates on the progress of some individual's Ph.D. 
research, and (most) newspaper articles.

    It just makes "Korean studies" as a discipline look rather like 
some strange fetish.
