This request appears to be from a commercial organisation, and presumably
is to do with selling books. Anyway, library statistics in respect to
education facilities are published annually in the Korea Statistical
Yearbook. Without going to a library, the most recent copy I have is for
1990. This gives:
Central national library 1
National Assembly library 1
Public libraries 197
College and university libraries 287
High School libraries 1692
Middle school libraries 1875
Elementary school libraries 2980
Special libraries 250 (I assume that this figure includes much that
Blackwell wants broken down).
