In regard to Junghee Lee's question about the correct romanization for the
name of the abbot in Nine Cloud Dream by Kim Man-jung, I would
suggest following Richard Rutt's example and romanizing it according to the
Wade-Giles Chinese pronunciation (Liu-kuan). After all, the setting for
this novel is China, not Korea.
