Dear Colleagues:

The Foreign Policy In Focus project is looking for a progressive expert
that could write a four page briefing paper on the following topic:

* North Korea: The Falling apart of 1994 Agreed Framework and U.S.
Sanctions Policy

This brief would be four pages, totaling approximately 2400 words, and have
the categories of: Description of Issues and Policy; Problems with Current
Policy; Toward a New Foreign Policy; and Sources for More Information.
There is a small stipend for each brief.

For those of you unfamiliar with the project, Foreign Policy In Focus is a
joint project of the Interhemispheric Resource Center (IRC) and the
Institute for Policy Studies (IPS). In Focus briefs document the problems
of current U.S. foreign policy and offer recommendations for alternative
policy directions that would make the United States a more responsible
global partner.

If you are interested please respond directly to me at leaver at swcp.com or
to the project editor, Tom Barry at irc_tom at zianet.com.

Thanks,
Erik Leaver
