Monthly Meeting of the Chosenshi Kenkyukai:

For those of you who might be in Tokyo in mid-September, the Chosenshi
Kenkyukai will hold its monthly meeting on September 19, a Saturday. 
Unless otherwise noted, all presentations are in Japanese.  This month:

Presentation:
Sasaki You  
"Russian-Korean Relations and the Sino-Japanese War (Ro-Chou kankei to
Nisshin sensou)"

Book Review:
Im Ch'Ol
"North Korea: The Guerrilla State Today (Kita Chousen: Yuugekitai kokka no
genzai)" by Wada Haruki [Iwanami shoten, 1998]


Time: 1:30 pm
Place: Senshuu University, Kanda campus, Room 203 (second floor)
(Senshuu University is located in the Jinbocho area of Tokyo, and is a
five-minute walk from both the Kudanshita and Jinbocho stations.  It is
very, very close to the used book store district known as Kanda and as
Jinbocho.)

Also, the Chosenshi Kenkyukai will hold its annual conference next month,
October 17-18 (Saturday and Sunday), at Kanagawa University, near Tokyo.
