***DISLOCATING THE WEST AND THE REST***

Pacific Asia Cultural Studies Forum invites paper proposals of
approximately 200 words for a 20 minute presentation.
The two major themes in the conference, 'Dislocating the West and the
Rest', are "Location and Identity" and "Representation and Translation of
the Other". PACSF welcomes all papers dealing with either of these two
issues, in terms of cultural studies, art, postcolonial studies, and so
forth. Submission from postgraduate students are particularly welcome, to
arrive no later than 30th April. Please sendn your proposal either by
