Dear Kirsten,
Have you already read the book which is written in Japanese 
and was published by the Japanese colonial government 
in Korea in 1935. The title is 
"Chosen no roji shukyo".
ðÈàØno ×¾ÞÄðò±³ and seems to give useful informations on
the Korean folkreligions including ch'ondogyo, sangjegyo, sach'ongyo,
wongjonggyo, ch'ongnigyo, taehwagyo... 
It is republished by the Sinhan Sorim in 1971.
Some of the colonial government's documents on
anthropolgy and korean studies were later 
reproduced by the Wongkwang taehakkyo minsokhak
yonguso.
