South Korea: An Examination of Nationalist Intellectual Discourse," in
positions: east asia cultures critique, vol. 3 no. 2 (fall 1995).
Btw, I wonder if anyone is doing work on the cultural policies of the US
occupation authorities in south Korea, 1945-1950? There is a growing body
of literature on this subject in the context of post-war West Germany and
Japan but little, if anything, that I've seen on Korea.
