Robert,
I too was sorry to have missed some RAS lectures of interest because I
wasn't on their mailing list. I attended the last one, a wonderful poetry
reading by Brother Anthony, and at that time gave the Korean studies elist
info to the RAS office.
In absolutely no official capacity, I might add that the next meeting is
this Weds. at 7pm, Goethe Inst. with a fascinating talk scheduled by Prof.
Kim-Haboush, on 18C women's literature and historical narratives, I believe.
They dont have free refreshments like Fulbright, but the Goethe Inst. has a
better view off of the south (?) side of Namsan (and a cafe downstairs!).

Subject: Re: Fulbright Forum

Living in Korea I have always wanted to be able to attend these lectures
given by the RAS and the Fulbright Institute but there are rarely if ever
any notices given. True, the RAS has lately been advertising in the Korean
Herald but they seldom give the subject title. Is it possible that both
organizations might in the future offer more information and try to
advertise their events on as many medias as possible?

Thanks

Robert
