Professor Grant, thanks a lot for forwarding these reports.
I feel truly sorry for Korean tax payers. ... Do Korean linguists and
government officials seriously believe that anyone in Europe or the U.S.
will adopt a new transcription/transliteration system? But this does not
even seem to be taken into consideration. 
... and "two foreigners" were also in the audience! Hmm ... this
sounds just like a report from the _Tongnip sinmun_ of the late 19th
century. "Segyehwa" was just another joke then, right? 
Sorry, but it is really hard to suppress one's sarcasm when reading this.
