The following sites are useful for checking suspicious virus warnings, chain
letters and other cyber trash:

1) Data Fellows' "Hoax warnings" site, which says it is "considered the
industry standard information source for new virus hoaxes and false alerts":
http://www.datafellows.com/news/hoax/

2) IBM's "Anti-Virus Online" site, which includes a link to a "Hypes and
Hoaxes" page:
http://www.av.ibm.com/Publish/

3) About.com's vast "Urban Legends and Folklore" site, which has a search
function for identifying phony messages/chain letters:
http://urbanlegends.about.com/culture/beliefs/urbanlegends/
