I don't know much written work about him, but Ernest Bethell is buried in
the foreigners cemetery in Yanghwajin, and I walk past his grave every
Sunday. There is a paragraph about him in Donald Clark, "The Seoul
Foreigners' Cemetery at Yanghwajin: An Informal History," published by Seoul
Union Church.
