Apart from already mentioned works, there are "Koreans in Soviet
Central Asia" by Songmoo Kho, and the brief article "Koreans in the Former
Soviet Union" by the same author published in "Occasional Papers," vol. 2,
1996. There are also the invaluable "Belaya Kniga" ("White Book"), a
collection of documents pertaining to the forced relocation of Koreans
from Far East to the Central Asia in 1937, and "Ocherki istorii sovetskikh
koreitsev" ("Essays on History of Soviet Koreans"). "Bibliography of
Koreans in Russia" published, I think, in 1996, could be a very useful
source. John Stephan's "Sakhalin" also somewhat treats the theme of
Koreans in Russia. "Istoria Dalnego Vostoka SSSR" ("History of the USSR
Far East")in 2 volumes is a definitive work by official Soviet historians.
But a really good place to look for materials would be, of course,
Vladivostok and Habarovsk libraries ...
