Has anyone done research on the changing rural landscapes in South Korea. 
Since the 1960s and the Green Revolution, there has been a growing elderly 
population that is responsible for much of the agricultural labor as many 
of the youth move to urban centers for wage and salary jobs. My literature 
search stops around 1990 on this topic.

Kudos to "Kevin" for his poignant comments relating to the cat/dog 
discussion... sometime thoughts do not always transfer into words but yours 
were very clear.
