For anyone in Seoul who is interested, however, "Pyongyang Diaries" IS the
film currently being shown in conjunction with the "Made in Korea 2000
Exhibition" of art by foreigners living in Korea, at the Ilmin Museum,
located in the old Dong-a Ilbo building right at the Kwanghwamun
intersection. The 68-minute film is being shown at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4
p.m. daily, and there is no charge, either for the film or for the rest of
the quite interesting worthwhile exhibition.

"Pyongyang Diaries" is a great piece of documentary work
made by Solrun
Hoaas (an Australian filmmaker of Norwegian descent) in
1995-1997 on the
basis of 8mm Video materials recorded during her two trips
to NKorea for
participation in the Pyongyang International Film Festival.

Unfortunately, it is definitely not what the CNN editor was
looking for...
