Please keep your eyes open for me in the media... I'm very interested in
any media reports or other news of shamans in the south going north for
any family visits, events, kut, performances ... anything, especially if
it's Kim Keum Hwa. Having seen what she is willing to do for peace in
the region (chaktu kut at Yoido Park on Veterans Day 2000), I'm
wondering of she will have the opportunity to return to her region soon.
I know that shamanism is not well looked upon, but I have a feeling that
such will indeed happen.

Also, I am preparing to create a tour for Kim Keum Hwa's group to the
USA (and perhaps in Japan) most likely in 2002, but perhaps as early as
2001 fall. If anyone is interested in presenting her troupe at a campus
or other performing arts venue, including any workshops / seminars,
please do contact me. I will post this again when dates are more clear.
I am focused so far on Los Angeles and perhaps New York.
