Assistant or Associate Professor, Modern Korean History

History Department, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Assistant or associate
professor, Position Number 0083322, full-time, tenure-track, 9-month position
to begin August 1, 2002, subject to the availability of funds. To teach,
according to needs of the Department, lower-division courses in Korean
history; supervise MA and PhD levels.  

Minimum qualifications for assistant professor rank, all PhD requirements in
modern Korean history must be satisfied by August 1, 2002; record of scholarly
activities; for associate professor rank: also a published scholarly book and
teaching experience at the associate professor level. Desirable qualifications
for assistant professor rank, teaching experience at college or university
level. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
