I haven't heard that Korean is a particularly scientific language, but the 
development of the script is said to be the only one that has a scientific 
basis, as the scholars who developed it actually tried to shape the letters 
in such a way that they represented the diagrams of the position of the 
tongue in the mouth when the consonants were spoken in relation to the teeth, 
the roof of the mouth, the back of the throat, etc.  There are numerous 
comments to this effect in the text books about the Korean language and 
hangul.
