Dear Colleagues,

The August meeting of the Chosenshi kenkyukai will be held Saturday, August 
23, from 1:30 pm.  This month's presentations, to be offered in Japanese, 
are as follows.


Research Presentation:
Yi HaeyOn.  "The Guomindang's Policy toward Koreans Living in Northeast 
China during the Post-1945 Chinese Civil War"

Book Review:
Yoshizawa Fumitoshi.  "Nikkan koushou: Seikyuuken mondai no kenkyuu," by 
Oota Osamu (Tokyo: Kurein, 2003).


The meeting will be held in Room 1 13, Faculty of Law Building 1 at 
University of Tokyo's Hongo campus. The campus is located near the Hongo 
San-choume stations (Marunouchi line and Toei Ooedo line).  For further
