Dear Colleagues,

The February meeting of the Kindai Chousen chiikishika kenkyuukai will be 
held Thursday, February 27, from 4:00 pm, in the Basement Meeting Room at 
Bunka Center Arirang.

This month's presentation, in Japanese, will be offered by Ninou Yutaka. 
The title of his talk is "The Cattle Plague Problem and the Formation of 
the Quarantine System for Exports to Japan in the Ports Opening Period".

Bunka Center Arirang (telephone: 042-576-7151) is located in Kawaguchi, 
Saitama Prefecture, and is about fifteen minutes by foot from the JR Nishi 
Kawaguchi station.
