A view that fits perfectly well into the Bush New Age times of today. 
Nice juggling with economic data that deliberately seems to take any 
other social and political aspects out of the picture -- as if living 
standard would depend on rice prices alone -- implying that after all 
colonialism was quite beneficiary to Koreans.
