[KS] Writing as a Block for Asians & [KS] scientific writing system

As I have seen many comments on Korean and Chinese writing systems in the recent past, I am inclined to propose to read my article, Sang-Oak Lee (1997),
Graphical ingenuity in the Korean writing system: With new reference to calligraphy, in Young-Key Kim-Renaud ed. The Korean Alphabet: its History and Structure, Univ. of Hawaii Press: 107-116.
The Korean writing system is not only scientific but also economical in terms of strokes. Consider F versus Korean aspirated k and also Gamma in the Cyrillic alphabet versus Korean k. Block-writing of the Korean alphabet is also linguistically informative to show syllabic or morphological boundaries.
