Dear KS List,

Perhaps you know of someone who would be a good candidate for these
jobs.  I don't know anything more than is posted below, myself, but I
do know Yonsei GSIS has a lot of great students who hope to get
inspiring professors in these positions!   Sorry the jobs aren't more
specifically Korea related.  English follows the Korean.

2.지원자격
가.박사학위 취득 후 연구 또는 교육경력 1년 이상인 분을 원칙으로 함. 
나.사립학교 교수임용에 결격사유가 없는 분으로서 연세대학교의 건학 이념을 준수할 수 있는 분. 
다.영어강의가 가능한 분(국제학대학원의 모든 강의는 영어로 진행됨)

3. 제출서류
가. 지원서(본교 소정양식) 2매 (http://www3.yonsei.ac.kr:8888/apply/2005에서 내용 입력,
입력 후 인쇄하여 제출)
나. 종교상황(본교 소정양식) 1매 (http://www3.yonsei.ac.kr:8888/apply/2005에서 내용 입력,

다. 졸업증명서(학사·석사·박사) 및 성적증명서(평량평균(GPA) 기재) 각 1부 
라. 연구실적목록(논문제목, 연구자, 발표 년월일, 발표 게재지, 논문개요 기재) 2부 
* 대표업적은 별도로 표기 바람. 
마. 박사학위 논문 및 최근 4년(2001년 9월 이후) 이내의 연구실적물 각 1부 
바. 추천서(2인 이상의 동일 전공분야 교수 또는 전문인) 각 1부 
* 추천서에는 지원대학, 지원학과 및 완전한 성명을 밝히고 밀봉 후 밀봉선에 반드시 추천인의 서명 또는 날인 받을것

4.서류접수기간 : 2005년 4월 11일(월) - 22일(금) 17:00시 마감 
(우편 접수가능하나 마감일까지 도착분에 한함.)

6. 심사기준 및 단계 
가. 기초심사(1단계) - 지원자의 전공분야가 모집대상 전공분야와 일치하는지 여부 심사 
나. 전공심사(2단계) - 지원자의 연구실적을 해당 대학의 교원업적평가 기준에 따라 평가하여 학문적 우수성과 교육능력 등을 심사 
다. 공개강의 및 면접(3단계) - 기초·전공심사 결과 상위 후보자들을 대상으로 실시하여 지원자의 발표내용 및 발표능력,
학문적 발전가능성, 대학에의 기여도,교원으로서의 자질과 품위 등을 종합적으로 심사

7. 결과통지 : 임용예정자에 한하여 등기·속달로 개별통지 - 2005년 7월 중순 이후 

8. 서류반환 : 접수된 서류는 반환하지 않음. 

9. 기 타 
가. 제출서류 미비시는 접수치 않음. 
나. 임용시기는 2005학년도 2학기를 원칙으로 함 

Professorship 2005-2

1. Recruiting Fields 
Tenure Track : Chinese Studies, International Economics, International Business

2. Qualifications
A. Teaching in English is required.(Courses at Graduate School of 
International Studies are conducted in English)
B. A relevant Ph.D. and at least one year of education or research
experience after obtaining a Ph. D. are essential.

3. Required Documents

C. Copies of diplomas and official transcripts(with GPAs) of

D. List of research activities: papers, exhibitions and performances
(including title, author(s), date of
publication/exhibition/performance,journal title or place of
exhibition/performance, and abstract) x 2.
* List of representative research activities on a separate page 
E. Copies of all research work (papers or equivalent documentation for
exhibitions and performances) for the past 4 years (after September,
2001) and doctoral dissertation x 1 each.
F. Letter of recommendation by two professors or professionals in the
same academic field in sealed and signed envelope (field of
application and applicant's full name must be specified in the letter)
x 1 each.

4. Application Period
Monday, April. 11, 2005 - Friday, April. 22, 2005 (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) 
Applications may be submitted by mail but should arrive by the deadline. 
(Note: Late applications will not be considered, even if it is postage
stamped before the deadline.)
