I find this topic very interesting.

I would like to point out another salient South Korean disconnect. Until quite recently, at least, prisoners--often incarcerated long before convicted--were/are brought to court dressed in hanbok to face judges and prosecutors cloaked in imposing, black and grey Western get-ups.
