[KS] hanbok and fashion

I find this topic very interesting.

only in North Korea. Chaps may wear Western suits - but woman
must represent The Nation. (No doubt the postcolonialist crew have 
spotted this, and dressed it up in all sorts of fancy theory garb.)" 
  I would like to point out another salient South Korean disconnect. Until quite recently, at least, prisoners--often incarcerated long before convicted--were/are brought to court dressed in hanbok to face judges and prosecutors cloaked in imposing, black and grey Western get-ups.
