Ewha Womans University Division and Graduate School of
International Studies announces the following two
faculty positions for Assistant and/or Associate
Professors:

ACADEMIC AREAS:

1.  INTERNATIONAL TRADE / INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS
2.  KOREAN STUDIES 

DESCRIPTION:

The Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS)
and the Division of International Studies (DIS) at
Ewha Womans University (Seoul, S. Korea) is seeking
applications for two tenure-track positions at the
Assistant / Associate Professor level. 

The faculty member will be expected to teach a
combination of graduate and undergraduate courses in
English. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have Ph.D. or ABD and relevant
teaching competence in the following areas:
International Trade / International Economics and
Korean Studies. The successful candidate will ideally
have a demonstrated interest, outstanding research
potential, and English proficiency at the native
speaker level. Non-Korean candidates are encouraged to
apply.  Salary is competitive.

The successful Korean Studies candidate will be
expected to teach entry-level Korean Studies courses
to major and non-major students, in addition to
upper-level courses according to his or her specialty,
which can include literature, history, film studies,
gender studies, or cultural studies among others, with
Korea as the primary area of focus.

Korea, and further, GSIS has been ranked as the #1
program of its kind by the Korean Ministry of
Education.
