Dear Colleagues,

The April meeting of the Chousenshi Kenkyuukai will be held Saturday,
April 15, at Senshu University. This month's speakers, who will present in

Oota Hideharu. "The Encounter, Reception, and Adaptation of Foreign
Culture during the Japanese Invasion of Korea, 1592-1598: Focusing on
Techniques for Describing Castle Construction"

Book Review:
Furukawa Noriko. "Shokuminchi-ki Chousen no kyouiku to jendaa," by Kim
Puja (Tokyo: Seori Shobou, 2005).


The meeting will begin at 1:30 pm in Room 204. Senshu University is
located near the Suidobashi, Kudanshita, and Jinbochou stations. For
