Dear Cedar Bough Saeji,

Some information is available at the Internet Archive: Wayback Machine: http://www.archive.org/, but I think you need to know the URL in order to search it. I tried the AAS website and found some information for 1998 and following. Some pages are slow to load, so don’t give up too soon!

Subject: [KS] Past Conference Programs

Dear List Members,

I am assisting with a project that will compile some (hopefully very useful) information on the various Korean Studies conferences. I need to make a master list that will show all the wonderful academic work that's being done, but I've had some problem with finding old conference programs on-line. While I have found some, I still need so many more. I think the biggest problem is that many conference webpages only work for one year (or a few months) and then when the webhost cleans "house" the conference page is considered outdated and deleted.

Perhaps some of you know where I can find some old archived webpages, or have copies of conference programs on your harddrives. I sure hope so. I am looking for:

AAS 1996-2004 (I have 2005 and 2006).

PACKS 1996-present (except for 1998 which is the only program I can find).

AKSE 1995-2001 (I have 2003 and 2005).

KSAA 1997, 1999, and 2005. (I have 2001 and 2003)

I would really appreciate any help you can give me with this project.

Thank you,

Cedar Bough Saeji
