DESCRIPTION:




The Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) and the Division of International Studies (DIS) at Ewha Womans University (Seoul, S. Korea) is seeking applications for a tenure-track position of Assistant / Associate Professor. 




The faculty member will be expected to teach a combination of graduate and undergraduate courses in English. 




QUALIFICATIONS:




Candidates must have Ph.D. or ABD and relevant teaching competence in one or more of the following areas: International Business (Marketing or HR or OB), or Development Studies or International Trade. The successful candidate will have outstanding research potential and English proficiency at the native speaker level. Salary is competitive.

The evaluation process consists of three stages.  In the first stage, applicants are evaluated on the basis of the information submitted online <http://home.ewha.ac.kr/~kyomoo/index_eng.html>  from Nov. 8, 2006, 10:00AM to Nov. 10, 2006, 4:00PM (Korean Standard Time). Those selected for the second stage will be evaluated on the basis of their research records and a sample lecture given at the University. Those selected for the third stage will be invited for interviews.




The announcement of applicants selected for the second stage will be posted on the University website <http://ewha.ac.kr/eng/main.html>  in mid-November, 2006. Applicants selected for the second stage must send additional required documents and materials by the end of November, 2006. The detailed schedule will be put up on Ewha Homepage <http://ewha.ac.kr/eng/main.html>  later. Those who do not send the additional materials by the deadline will be considered to have withdrawn from the evaluation process.
