There was a wink behind that comment. :-) ... but really it isn't like a
small handful
and it isn't all every day hanja... something like ogamdo is not a text
someone who is
not a full time Korean literature specialist is ever going to be able to
read unless some
one bothers makes an annotated version.

years ago, at both Yonsei and Seoul Dae Hangja was taught after regular
class as and "extra" if you wanted it, and could bear to skip lunch and
. . .
well, I didn't get very far [skip lunch? that is wack]. So Hangeullae is
all i
can really read. I know a couple dozen characters at best. I would love
to stop
my life for 6 months and just bang away at it and learn a bunch
more, but life gets in the way. Besides, You card carrying
Koreanists are supposed to be picking up that slack [wink wink].
