Based on diverse activities and cooperation with Koreanists from around the
world, the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) has played a key role in the
development of Korean Studies.

 

In 2004, AKS initiated a new project of investigation on the status of
Korean Studies in the world, which resulted in the establishment of the
Korean Studies Net (KSNet) allowing educational institutions, research
institutions, academic societies, museums, libraries, and individual
researchers in Korean Studies to share academic information online. 

 

AKS hopes to construct a systematic support plan for Korean Studies
organizations and researchers based on the Korean Studies Net. With your
cooperation, KSNet can be consistently updated with accurate information.

 

We also hope that this online system will help all those who work in the
field of Korean Studies.
